Think “Tinder for cats” or “marketplace for single socks”. Attendees — please BYOF. Bring your own FORK. No, seriously, bring a fork. Any fork (safely, not a pitch fork). NO FORK, NO ENTRY!!! Drinks and small bites will be served. LET'S FORKIN' GO! (๑˃ᴗ˂)ﻭ Hosted by Helen from Trove & Savage from draftone (This is a silly event, so come meet other silly people and have fun.) Schedule: We’ll start with casual mingling, then move into 8 rapid-fire pitches. Each presenter gets a minute or so to sell the room on a fake company, followed by expert Q&A from amazing VCs, live riffing, and probably some questionable business advice. 5:30 PM - doors + mingling Doors close at 6:10 PM 6:15 PM - show begins + one halftime intermission 8:30 PM - people's choice + wrap-up No startup experience required. No actual investing will occur. Probably. In all seriousness, a note: This location is up three flights of wide stairs. There is no elevator. Unfortunately, we will not be able to guarantee strict food and dietary restrictions! Please be aware before you come! Please do bring a fork! But do not bring any unsafe forks.
