After traveling around the world from Berlin to London to Lisbon to Malta to Mexico City, we're back in Zurich for our second year! ๐ ๐ฆ WHAT'S THIS ABOUT? Fck the Small Talk is a one-of-a-kind social experience where strangers come together for an evening of meaningful, fun, and deep conversation. Itโs also just a different & cool way of meeting new people by getting out of your comfort zone and skipping the small talk! Join us for an evening of games, talks, and connections with friends you havenโt met yet. Join if you get annoyed after being asked what you do, where you are from, and how long you have been in Zurich every single time you meet someone. If you feel that there are better questions in life then this is the place for you. ๐ ๐ HOW DOES IT WORK? We start with a short & sweet intro talk followed by a few light-hearted group games to warm up. After that, we split you up into small groups and start with the conversation rounds (with 3 people). We'll have our awesome question cards that will guide the flow of the conversation. (Youโll never have to speak in public if you donโt want) You'll be guided by an experienced host who'll make sure everything goes smoothly. ๐ญ (introverts, you'll love it too โค๏ธ) โ๐งง WHAT'S INCLUDED? โฐ 3 hours of facilitated and curated activities๐ฅ A space to meet new people in the least boring way possible๐ Light snacks to keep the energy going (only if outside)๐๐ฝ Access to the post-event WhatsApp group๐ Supporting our mission to slowly eliminate small talk around the world๐ซ We include the ticket fees because we know how much they suck! ๐น HOW TO JOIN? Our events are limited to 30 guests to ensure a cozy atmosphere. (more than that is a party!) We do our best to curate events with similar ages and a healthy gender balance! I've always been extremely active and love to be involved in projects related to building communities and inner circles. I love experiencing new cultures and have been to over 50 countries, I can't resist petting a dog passing by and I love cheesecake (the good kind, of course!). I truly believe in stepping outside of your comfort zone, we all have a bit of crazy and weirdo in us, why not bring that together?! ๐ค QUESTIONS YOU MIGHT HAVE โฃ Can I come alone?Of course, in fact, we encourage it! 99% of people do. โฃ Can I be late?Please don't. We start 15 min after the official start. Late arrivals tend to disrupt the flow of the event. Don't let Germany down! โฃ Is this a dating or networking event?Not at all! No business cards, no awkward 1-minute speed rounds โjust real, meaningful conversations with some friends you haven't met yet. (this doesn't mean crushes or business relationships can't happen, it's just not the intention ๐)โฃ Can I get a refund if I can't make it?Unfortunately, we do not offer refunds or ticket transfers to another event date.
