The Plug Social: On the Ranch Join The Private Plug Foundation for an afternoon at the ranch. This curated Plug Social brings together young women, mentors, and community leaders for an experience centered around confidence, connection, and trying something new. We'll spend the afternoon learning about horses, participating in beginner riding lessons, sharing lunch, and building authentic relationships in an environment that encourages growth and conversation. Whether you've been around horses before or this is your first time, this experience is designed for everyone. What's Included Horseback riding lesson Horse care and ranch education Lunch and refreshments Mentorship and networking Who Should Attend: Young women who are high school seniors, college students, recent graduates, or early-career professionals interested in leadership, mentorship, and community. Mentors are also welcome to attend. What to Wear: Please dress comfortably for an outdoor afternoon at the ranch. We recommend: Closed-toe shoes or boots (required) Comfortable jeans, leggings, or athletic pants A breathable T-shirt or lightweight top A light jacket or sweatshirt, depending on the weather Sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat are encouraged Please avoid sandals, flip-flops, or high heels. What to Expect: This is a beginner-friendly experience—no prior horseback riding experience is necessary. Participants will have the opportunity to learn about horses, interact with them, and receive introductory riding instruction from the ranch team. Safety Information: Participant safety is our highest priority. All riding instruction and horse interactions will be led by experienced ranch staff. Guests are expected to follow all safety instructions provided throughout the event. If a participant waiver is required by the ranch, it will be provided prior to the event or upon arrival. Accessibility & Transportation: This event takes place outside of Chicago. Participants are responsible for arranging their own transportation to and from the ranch. Additional parking and arrival details will be shared with registered attendees before the event. Space is intentionally limited and curated.
