Book Discussion: Sweet Bean Paste
Welcome to our Book Discussion! In this book club meetup we discuss a book that we read together. This time we discuss a book from Japan 🇯🇵 (East Asian region): Sweet Bean Paste by Durian Sukegawa (translator: Alison Watts). Read about the book here. Note: availability of English books at local book stores and libraries can be somewhat challenging, so make sure that you start looking into how and where to get your copy as soon as you can! In our book club we read and discuss: books by authors from an Asian background – including diaspora authors from all 5 Asian regions – East, Southeast, South, West, Central. contemporary literary fiction – novels, short stories, novellas, biographical fiction & memoirs.
