[CASTELLANO + ABAJO ⤵️] 🛶 The Plan We’ll head to the Aiguamolls de l’Empordà for a beautiful day combining kayaking, nature, birdwatching, an easy hike and time by the water. We’ll start with a 2-hour guided kayak activity from Sant Pere Pescador, paddling through the peaceful surroundings of the Fluvià river, inside the Parc Natural dels Aiguamolls de l’Empordà. This area is one of the most important wetlands in Catalonia: a calm landscape full of riverside vegetation, birds and wildlife. During the kayak route, we’ll paddle towards the natural area of Illa de Caramany, with time to enjoy the river and take a refreshing swim. After the kayak, we’ll rest, eat something and then choose the best hiking option depending on timing, weather and the energy of the group. The main plan is an easy walk through the Aiguamolls, with birdwatching areas where it is often possible to see pink flamingos if we're lucky. Another possible option is a beautiful coastal hike around L’Escala / Cala Montgó, with sea views, rocky coves and viewpoints. 🚦Difficulty level 🛶 Kayak: around 2h paddling route Difficulty: Easy Suitable for everyone. Empezaremos con una actividad guiada de kayak de 2 horas desde Sant Pere Pescador, remando por el tranquilo entorno del río Fluvià, dentro del Parc Natural dels Aiguamolls de l’Empordà. Esta zona es uno de los humedales más importantes de Cataluña: un paisaje tranquilo lleno de vegetación de ribera, aves y vida salvaje. Durante la ruta en kayak, remaremos hacia el entorno natural de la Illa de Caramany, con tiempo para disfrutar del río y darnos un baño refrescante. Después del kayak, descansaremos, comeremos algo y luego elegiremos la mejor opción de senderismo en función del tiempo, la meteo y la energía del grupo. El plan principal es hacer una caminata fácil por los Aiguamolls, pasando por zonas de observación de aves donde a menudo es posible ver flamencos rosas si tenemos suerte.
