Tonbridge to Paddock Wood featuring Chagall stained glass windows

A truly wonderful 8 to 9 mile walk by the beautiful River Medway and in the fabulous idyllic Kent countryside! Some time in the afternoon we shall visit Tudeley Church which is the only church in the world that has all its stained glass windows created by the famed artist Marc Chagall. We shall buy group return train tickets at 10.15am for the train at 10.43am that arrives at Tonbridge at 11.16am. The walk shall commence by 11.25am. Train ticket : Return to Paddock Wood. Or you may decide to drive. Please bring packed lunch , water, snacks etc, waterproof jacket and walking shoes or trainers plus sunhat, suncream and sunglasses. You should have adequate insurance for this type of activity and be able to walk 2.5 miles per hour. We shall need to take a bus from Capel at the end of the walk to Paddock Wood train station. We shall have a drink at the end of the walk. We shall aim to take the train back to London from Paddock Wood at around 4.45pm. Meetup fee £5 payable in cash or by bank transfer in advance.
