Picnic in the Park: Favourite Austen Companion

Please join us for the in-person meeting of our book club. Theme Question: If you could spend an afternoon with one of Jane Austen’s heroes or heroines, whom would you choose and why? Beyond their obvious charms and virtues, what are the deeper, less obvious aspects of their character that draw you to them? Please bring your own food/drinks as we all have different dietary requirements. We will be meeting just opposite Lancaster Gate tube station at the Italian Gardens. P.S. In case of bad weather we will relocate to a near-by cafe.
