Chess in Koenji on Wednesday

Join us for chess at The Den in Koenji. All levels welcome. Every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 6 PM to 10 PM. You can come and go anytime during those hours. A relaxed environment to practice your openings, tactics, and endgames with like-minded people in English or Japanese. Tasty food and beverages are available too. Tournament-style vinyl boards with triple-weighted pieces and clocks for 16+ people. An officially recognized chess club by the Japan Chess Federation! No membership or registration required, just come and play chess. Time: 6:00 PM - 10:00 PM Address: The Den 4-25-8 Koenjiminami 2/3F. Entry: 500 yen + 1 drink The Den is located 2 minutes from Koenji Station JR. Take the south exit and walk down the small alley on the other side of the PAL 'shotengai' shopping street, to find it on the right side.
