Community Collaboration Pack Walk: LARPBO × The Bully Breed Bunch
We’re excited to partner with The Bully Breed Bunch for a special community pack walk through Culver City! Whether you’re a regular at our walks or joining us for the first time, this is a great opportunity to explore the neighborhood with your dog while connecting with fellow dog lovers from two amazing communities. Our walk will cover approximately 2-3 miles at a comfortable pace through a mix of residential streets and the downtown area. Along the way, our training team will lead a few fun, practical drills designed to help you and your dog practice real world skills in everyday environments. One of our favorite parts of these events is bringing people together. Pack walks are a chance to strengthen the bond with your dog, meet new people, reconnect with familiar faces, and show the community what responsible dog ownership looks like when handlers come together with a shared goal. We’ll have multiple trainers (@packdaddykass, @thebeardeddogtrainer, @tazk9academy, @barkitecturela) throughout the group to help guide the walk, answer questions, and keep everyone moving smoothly. And because no community event is complete without a little surprise, we’ll have some fun goodies waiting for participants at the end of the walk! Whether Culver City is your neighborhood or somewhere you’ve been wanting to explore, we’d love for you and your dog to join us for a morning of training, connection, and community. We can’t wait to walk with you! Please read entire description before you RSVP. REQUIREMENTS: Participants must submit a member form and participant release of liability each year. Click here to submit one. If you don't recall completing one this year, complete one now. RULES: First rule of our pack walks is to BE SAFE so that everyone has fun! All participants must comply to ALL guidelines below or will be asked to leave the event. 1. Participants limited to 50 (10 spots for West LA & South LA shelter dogs) people. RSVP is required to hold a spot. As soon as you know you cannot attend, cancel your reservation. We understand last-minute changes take place; however, if you don't show up more than two times you will be placed on the wait list for future events. 1. If you feel even slightly ill (including a headache, sniffles, minor fever or even an allergy), do not attend this event. Stay home for your health and safety of others. Remember to cancel your reservation. 1. Maintain a 6 foot distance from other participants not in your household. 1. Face mask/shield is optional. Please maintain a 6' distance from anyone choosing to wear a mask. MEETING LOCATION: We’ll meet at the corner of Barman Ave. & Coombs Ave., on the backside of the Veterans Memorial Center. PARKING: Street parking is available throughout the surrounding neighborhood. Please be mindful of posted parking signs and restrictions. WATER AND TREATS: Bring lots of water for you and your dog. PACK WALK DISTANCE: About 2-3 miles round trip through Culver City neighborhood and downtown. TRAIL: Paved DIFFICULTY: Easy DISTRACTION LEVEL: Medium (lots of squirrels, park visitors, dogs, kids) LARPBO PACK WALK GUIDELINES: 1 All dogs must be on a secure collar and leash. Dogs using e-collars must also be on a leash. Prong collars should be backed up with a carabiner. Short leashes are recommended (less than 6 feet). Retractable leashes and harnesses are not allowed as they provide little control. 2 PLEASE NO NOSE TO NOSE CONTACT (dog to dog that is). Always maintain a six-foot distance between dogs. There should be no dog-on-dog interaction. 3 Please bring doggie poo bags. 4 Make sure you bring water for you and your dog. 5 One dog per handler. No exceptions! 6 Share the road. Move to the right to let others pass. All breeds welcome. There will be foot traffic, bikes, and several others dogs. If your dog tends to be reactive to any of these distractions, please be EXTRA mindful and prepared.
