
Guided Tour of Royal College of Physicians of Ireland
Come join me this Heritage Week for the annual tours of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland. You will be taken on a journey through the beautiful rooms, indulging in the history of the college and the people who have passed through the doors over the centuries, you will also explore Ireland's medical history through art, objects and stories. Tours will take place 11am and 2pm, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday and should last about an hour. Opened in 1864, the building was designed by William Murray Junior and has been the home of the College ever since. On the tour, you will discover the history of the building, the college and the development of medicine in Ireland. Meeting Place: Inside entrance doors for 1.45pm. I have booked the 2pm Tour on the Wednesday. Tour starts at 2pm to 3pm. If you have made other plans, please don't stay on the going list. Attendees are responsible for their own Health and Safety at Meetups.
