Let's Be Slightly Wicked This August! 😈💕 Melbourne Women's Over 50 Friendship Group – Northern Branch I've found us something a little bit different... and I fear we may all leave needing elastic waistbands. We're heading to Merika, Eltham for lunch... and then it's time to meet the famous traditional Hungarian Chimney Cakes and Chimney Cones. Apparently there are 24 varieties. Twenty-four. Who's counting? Certainly not us. 💀🤣 I have a sneaking suspicion these magnificent cylindrical desserts may have been considered far too scandalous for respectable ladies a couple of hundred years ago... which is precisely why I think we should investigate them thoroughly. Purely in the interests of cultural research, of course. 😇🍰 📅 Sunday 23rd August 🕧 12:30 pm 📍 Merika, Eltham 🚗 Parking: Available below the restaurant (with a path up) or behind the restaurant (with stairs down). Expect delicious lunch, fabulous coffee, plenty of laughs and, for those feeling just a little bit rebellious... dessert that deserves its own fan club. Come along and spend an afternoon with women who know that calories consumed while laughing with friends are practically a community service. Life is short.
