Dear friends of analog entertainment, I would like to invite you to our games evening on Saturday, August 15, 2026, in the EPPENDORF area (near Hoheluftchaussee and "Eppendorfer Weg"). \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ This games afternoon is a long-term event and takes place every THIRD Saturday of the month. The next meeting will be on Saturday, August 15, 2026, from 1:00 PM to 10:00 PM (which means about 9 hours of gaming time). HVV public transport connection: Metrobus 5 is about 300 meters from our gaming location. Metrobus 20 and 25 are just one bus stop (+ approx. 300 meters walk) away. Walking time is about 10 minutes. Parking: Residential area. The main focus of the games afternoon/evening is on cozy get-togethers and easy-to-explain games. Games that can (often) be explained in under 15 to 20 minutes, while still offering high levels of fun and replay value for the group. Games from the categories of family games, party games, games for casual players, and social deduction games. On-site, we currently have a permanent collection of around 200 games. In addition, our guests bring about 50+ of their own games to the afternoons. So, plenty of variety is guaranteed. We welcome sociable, high-spirited people with excellent (positive) social skills and a sense of humor who love to laugh. If you want to have a great time with nice people, meet new faces, make new connections, and expand your social network, then you've come to the right place. About the meet-up ("house rules"): We play in two cozy rooms. Good lighting, plenty of tables we can push together, comfortable chairs! The invitation and address will be sent after a personal message (so if you are interested, send a PM to me ( HOLGER ) and/or leave a comment!). Registration and/or the "waiting list" is only binding after a personal confirmation including the address from the organizer ( Holger )! Usually, about 45 visitors attend our games evening, so it is well-attended. Due to limited space, unfortunately not all "guest requests" ("registrations") can be accepted. I kindly ask for your understanding. Guests and visitors are more than welcome to bring their own games! The gamers on-site will then decide what they would like to play on the day. Other organizational details: In the future, a venue contribution of 2 Euros per guest will be charged for the games meet-up, as the new rooms unfortunately cost rent. A small "donation box" will be set up for this. BYO ALLOWED! You are welcome to bring your own drinks, food, and snacks! On-site, there are small snacks as well as a TEA and COFFEE flat rate, which is included in the guest contribution. Ordering pizza to the venue or similar is possible and allowed ^^ Unfortunately, dogs are NOT allowed to be brought along. This is due to hygiene, dog allergies, etc. This is not my decision, but a rule set by the venue landlord. If you smoke, please go outside! The consumption of alcohol is not welcome at the games meet-up! I (and soon we) look forward to seeing you!
