Firefly Garden and one Hike of Pracheenburi

Overview Join our one-day adventure to Prachinburi and experience the magical glow of thousands of fireflies in their natural habitat! We’ll begin our journey at the serene Daravadee Buddha Statue, followed by a scenic 2.5 km hike leading to a stunning cliffside viewpoint. Then continue another 2 km to the peaceful E-To Reservoir. The trail is a natural path, suitable for easy to intermediate hiking levels (you can choose to hike only halfway if preferred). After the hike, it’s time to unwind by the reservoir, enjoy a light dinner, and head to the Firefly Garden. To witness these glowing insects, we’ll patiently wait in silence—fireflies are sensitive creatures, easily disturbed by loud sounds, strong smells, or chemicals. The number of fireflies you see reflects the health of the environment. Drive to Prachinburi Province (takes around 2–2.5 hours). 15.30: Arrive at the Big Buddha Image, our trail starting point. We will hike on a natural trail with a distance of 5 km. It usually takes around 2 hours to reach the end of the trail. 17.30: The van will wait for us at the end of the trail. We will spend some time by the reservoir with the meal box for dinner. 18.00: Leave the park and head to the firefly garden. We will stop at a 7-Eleven to get some snacks. 18.30: Arrive at the firefly garden. The fireflies normally come out at twilight after sunset (which is around 18.50–19.30). We are going to stay at the garden until 19.20. 19.30: Leave the firefly garden and head back to Bangkok. 22.00: Arrive back in Bangkok, near On Nut BTS Station.
