Improverished Intermediate Workshop

Nau mai haere mai to the brand new Improverished Intermediate Monthly Workshop! This is a brand new thing we are trying out and we're super excited about it! Once a month, after our 2 hour open workshop we will be offering an extra 1 hour workshop specifically for people who've done a bit of improv and are looking for a bit of extension. What to expect: - more scenework - more feedback and guidance from tutors - a chance to grow your improv skills - the usual friendly\, relaxed Improverished vibes Who can attend: - we recommend this for folks who have been coming to our open workshops for at least a year (even if you haven't made it every month\, that's fine) - anyone who has improv experience outside of Improverished for at least 1 course - this class is for adults 18+ This is not a structured 'Improv 201' type course, it's designed to be a regular drop-in option for those with some experience looking to do more improv with a bit more focus but still in a relaxed and casual environment. Want to try improv for the first time? Try our monthly open workshop instead! Please note: you are welcome to attend the workshop after attending our open workshop or as a stand-alone. RSVP's are necessary for numbers, we recommend a koha of $5-10 for the intermediate class About us: Improverished is a joyful improvised theatre company established in 2015. We are passionate about welcoming, inclusive creative spaces as well as community connection and sharing the fun of improv! All workshops take place in Basement Theatre Maker's Space. This is located right next to Basement Theatre in the Grey's Ave carpark. If you haven't been before, hang out outside Basement Theatre and we'll find you there!
