Annual Family Picnic, Bemis Woods
Sun Aug 2, Annual Family Picnic, Bemis Woods, Grove 5, 12 Noon until ? The party starts at noon at Bemis Woods. The entrance is just west of Wolf Road on the north side of Ogden Avenue, same as last year. Bring a few dollars to win fabulous prizes in our raffle and plan to enter the bags tournament. We’ll have our usual chicken and beverages. Families and friends are welcome. Dogs too if kept on a leash. Headcount Needed!!! RSVP on MeetUp or in an email to Nancy.M.McGregor@gmail.com. Please indicate the number of people attending in your group so we know how much food and drink to buy. Volunteers Needed: A list of volunteer tasks will be passed around at the July meeting. Membership Sign Ups: Begin at 12noon. Bring a checkbook and completed form. Midwest Trip Sign Ups: Begin at 1pm. Must be a current member to sign up for trips. Note: Signups for the Warm Weather and ‘Out West’ trips have already begun and will continue at the picnic. Bring checkbook to write deposit checks for each trip you want. Raffles: We’ll be raffling off prize baskets, ski bucks and Miller’s gift cards to help offset the cost of the picnic. Tickets are $1 each or 6 for $5. - A separate $5 raffle ticket will be available for front row tickets to the Buddy Holly show at Drury Lane on 9/18. This raffle will benefit the American Blind Skiing Foundation, not PSC, in memory of KayC Pincuspy. Bags Tournament: Win the admiration of all around you by entering! BYO: Bring your own unique mug for beverages (no glass), lawn games and lawn chairs. Picnic table seating is limited PSC provides beer, wine, pop, water and chicken. The chicken will be served at about 2:30 pm. Please be patient while it’s being set up! Please bring a dish to pass. Here’s a guideline, but feel free to bring your own specialty.
