Sunset Meetup @ David Lam Park
Having trouble making new social connections in Vancouver? Whether you're a local or just visiting, come connect with like-minded individuals in our lovely city. We host these Meetups to provide an opportunity to make new friends and connect with people in your community! This is a regular weekly event that occurs on Sundays at David Lam Park. Note that we have formally shifted from the old location at the Kits Beach Kings Head Pub and St. Augustine's @ Commercial Drive. Looking to connect in other ways? SAFETY RULES: This group is intended to be a safe, comfortable space to do group activities, and socialize with people. This is not a dating meetup group. Please do not hit on people (especially when they are new). Please only offer your number to people, don't ask for theirs. That way it's their choice if they would like to contact you. We also do not tolerate racism, sexism, homophobia or other forms of discrimination as well. If you are uncomfortable and feel someone has broken these rules, please contact one of the organizers. This is a continuation of the Kits Beach Sunset Social Group! As the weather is worsening in the fall, we will host other activities including restaurants, karaoke, bar hopping/hangout, mini-golf, and maybe more!
