🦆 Explore Marymoor Park
Join us as we explore one of the Eastside's most scenic parks and wildlife areas. We'll meet in front of Peet's Coffee & Tea in Redmond, where there is a large parking lot with plenty of parking. Please arrive a few minutes early, as we will promptly begin walking at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, August 26. From there, we'll head into Marymoor Park for a 4.2-mile mostly flat loop through a beautiful mix of wetlands, open fields, riverfront, and peaceful natural areas. The route follows wide, paved paths, making it one of our easiest walks for conversation and meeting new people. Marymoor Park is home to a surprising variety of wildlife, so keep an eye out for great blue herons, ospreys, ducks, turtles, and other birds that frequently visit the wetlands and Sammamish River. Whether you've visited Marymoor before or it's your first time, this is a great opportunity to experience one of the Eastside's most unique parks while enjoying a relaxing evening with fellow walkers.
