An announcement of any changes both here and on whatsapp 🌧️🤔 📣 🚨 Important: Event Participation Agreement This Event Participation Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into by and between Maggie Dickens, owner of the Unapologetically Childfree Community ("UCC"), and the participant ("Participant"). By signing below and/or attending the event, the Participant agrees to the following terms and conditions: 1. Disclaimer of Affiliation and Liability 1.1 No Affiliation with Third-Party Vendors: The UCC has no business relationship or affiliation with any other third-party vendor that may be involved in the event. Participation in any activities provided by third-party vendors is at the Participant's own discretion and risk. 1.2 No Financial Remuneration: No member of the Unapologetically Childfree Team currently receives any financial remuneration from third-party vendors. This is subject to change without warning or notice. 1.3 Waiver of Liability:The Participant agrees to waive any and all liability and hold Maggie Dickens and the UCC harmless from any and all claims, actions, damages, costs, or expenses that may arise from the Participant's involvement in any activities associated with the event, including but not limited to physical injuries, property damage, or financial loss. 2. Voluntary Participation and Assumption of Risk 2.1 Voluntary Participation: Participation in this event is entirely voluntary. By attending, the Participant acknowledges and accepts that they are participating at their own risk. 2.2 Assumption of Risk: The Participant assumes all risks associated with attending the event, joining the group WhatsApp chat, or engaging in the UCC community, including but not limited to risks of physical injury, property damage, or financial loss. 3. Photography and Marketing Consent 3.1 Photography and Video Recording: The Participant acknowledges and consents to the possibility of being photographed or video recorded during the event. These photographs and videos may be used for marketing and promotional purposes by the UCC. 3.2 Use of Likeness: The Participant grants the UCC and Maggie Dickens the irrevocable right to use their likeness, image, and appearance as part of any marketing or promotional activities, without any compensation to the Participant. 3.3 Marketing Consent: By attending the event and joining the WhatsApp group, the Participant acknowledges and consents to receive and participate in marketing initiatives for the UCC. 4. General Provisions 4.1 No Charge for Events: While Ms. Dickens will make every effort to ensure that these events remain free of charge and will refrain from charging or receiving income from hosting these events, the Participant acknowledges that any expenses incurred are their own responsibility. 4.2 Modification of Agreement: This Agreement constitutes the entire agreement between the parties and may only be modified in writing signed by both parties. 4.3 Governing Law: This Agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the law.
