Improve your public speaking, build confidence, and grow as a leader — in a supportive and welcoming environment. At First Hanseatic Toastmasters Hamburg, we help people become better communicators and leaders through structured practice and constructive feedback. Whether you are: preparing for presentations at work looking to overcome stage fright improving your leadership and communication skills or simply curious about public speaking our meetings provide a safe space to practice and grow. What happens at a meeting? Our meetings follow the proven Toastmasters International program, used by more than 270,000 members in over 140 countries. During a typical meeting you will experience: Prepared Speeches – Members deliver speeches from the Toastmasters learning program Impromptu Speaking (Table Topics) – Fun short speaking exercises where anyone can try speaking for 1–2 minutes Constructive Feedback – Supportive evaluations that help speakers improve Leadership Roles – Members practice facilitation, organization, and leadership Visiting as a Guest Guests are always welcome. You can simply observe, or if you feel comfortable you may participate in the Table Topics impromptu speaking session — but there is no pressure at all. Many members attend several meetings as guests before deciding whether to join.
