Classic Walk: Wyre Forest, Bewdley & Ribbesford Rambling route around the Wyre Forest and surrounds, taking in Bewdley, the river Severn, and plenty of remote ancient woodland Logistics: Meet: 10:20 check-in, to start within 10 minutes, or earlier if all visible are ready. Distance: Around 10 to 11 miles Start Point: Blackstone Picnic site parking area on A456 at DY12 1PX Terrain: Gently undulating wooded yet varied countryside with the River Severn early and late in the walk Parking: As above (believed to be free) Map: Streetmap.co.uk - Map of 379445,274407 Earth View: A456 - Google Maps Refreshments: Picnic stop, and cafe (or pub) stop just after half way. Bring: Waterproofs & Refreshments & Good walking footwear, and clothing to match the weather. Guests: Under 16s & dogs (behaved, under control) may attend as guests.
