Write Together, KL - Thursdays @ Plump Cafe, Bangsar

Introduction and Purpose: Write Together is a two-hour focused writing session that brings writers together to work on whatever project, idea, draft, or creative work they choose. This is not a workshop; there is no instruction, curriculum, or prescribed topic. Participants work independently on whatever they are currently writing, or thinking of writing, for the full duration of the session. The Thursday session is our flagship Write Together gathering and has been running consistently for three years. It takes place every Thursday. Agenda: Arrival & Orientation: Participants are encouraged to arrive a few minutes early. Look for Shankar near the entrance of Plump for a brief orientation to the space and session flow. Focused Writing Session (2 hours): Writers work quietly and independently on their own chosen projects throughout the session. Optional Social: The session is typically capped with an informal social at the pub downstairs. Participation is entirely optional and offers space to connect and converse after the writing period. Venue: Write Together (Thursday) is hosted at Plump Bangsar, a cafe lined with books, references to literature, and writing. It has a lovely indoor section with a balcony with additional tables with greenery. Requirements: 1. You must write or create — something, anything. Other forms of creative or expressive work are also welcome. 2. Please purchase at least one drink from the venue to support the space hosting the session. — Shankar
