Socrates Cafe - Wakefield

As a satellite of Socrates Boston, at Socrates Wakefield we discuss ideas in an open and honest manner in a safe, respectful, moderated forum. At the beginning of the session, we’ll brainstorm and vote on the topic we’ll be discussing. We will then have a structured conversation (not a debate; a moderated exchange) where participants take turns sharing their ideas. The goal is to have real conversations about social and cultural topics. We encourage sharing diverse and differing viewpoints and experiences. Past topics have included: what makes a good friend? What does it mean to know someone? What defines a personality and can personality be measured?
