Perseid Meteor Showers at Garry Point Park

This event is completely weather pending and the description will be updated when the weather forecast is known. The event will be cancelled if it is mostly cloudy or rains. Cancellation notice and location will be provided in the morning of the event. We head down to the field at Garry Point Park in Richmond and bring our mat, picnic blanket and maybe even a sleeping bag and a pillow so we can lie down and look at shooting stars. There is a new moon so the skies should be fairly dark so we don't need to go to a remote with little light pollution.
