MicroPython / CircuitPython / Python for hardware usergroup - August 2026
Python is a very practical and useful programming language, both for beginners and experienced engineers. It is also very useful when developing hardware, both for implementing firmware (using MicroPython or CircuitPython), or as a language used on the PC for hardware testing and development tools. This user-group is open to those that are using Python with hardware today, or those that are just curious and want to learn more. Agenda: - Introduction/tour of Bitraf (if there are any new) - Informal Show & Tell - Open chatting and hacking If you want to get started with MicroPython, recommend bringing a laptop. You can borrow a suitable microcontroller, or borrow a ESP32 or RP2040/RP2350 device. Let me know if you have something to share in the Show & Tell. Can be just a 2-5 minutes "I made X", and anything that is related to hardware and Python is welcomed!
