☀️ Join Us for HUT’s Summer Toastmasters Meetings! The Hague University of Applied Sciences may be closed for the summer, but Hague University Toastmasters (HUT) is still meeting! From Week 30 through Week 36, we’ll continue practicing public speaking in a relaxed outdoor setting. It’s the perfect opportunity to keep developing your communication skills while enjoying the summer weather and meeting fellow Toastmasters. 🌿 Outdoor Meetings (weather permitting) 💻 Online Meeting if weather conditions require it Whether you’re looking to become a more confident speaker, improve your storytelling, or simply enjoy an evening of inspiring conversations, our summer meetings are open to everyone. Here’s what you can expect: 🕕 18:45 – Meet & Greet Meet fellow members and guests before the meeting begins. It’s a great opportunity to connect, network, and enjoy a relaxed summer atmosphere. 🕖 19:00 – Meeting Begins We’ll kick off another engaging Toastmasters meeting filled with learning, laughter, and inspiration. Meeting Highlights 🎤 Prepared Speeches Enjoy engaging 5–7 minute speeches on a variety of topics and discover how effective communication can inspire and entertain. ⚡ Table Topics Challenge yourself with a fun impromptu speaking exercise. Volunteer for a 1–2 minute speech on a surprise topic and discover just how quickly you can think on your feet. 📚 Evaluations Receive supportive, constructive feedback that helps speakers continue growing with every meeting. 👥 Summer Attendance Meetings will take place with a minimum of five attendees cross registration platforms or google form. If fewer than five people have registered, the meeting will be cancelled and announced at least six hours beforehand. Whether you’re a seasoned speaker, a first-time visitor, or just spending the summer in The Hague, we’d love to welcome you.
