Dining with the Poor with me: Let's help the Brothers of San Francesco 🍲
On Sunday 16 August, we will team up for a special evening! 🤝 Join me for a volunteering shift at the Fondazione Fratelli di San Francesco soup kitchen. The soup kitchen is not just a place where food is distributed, but a safe haven based on dignity, listening, and human warmth. Sunday evening is a time when there is a great need, because many other facilities in the city are closed. What will we do? The food is prepared by the chefs in the kitchen next door, so we won't have to cook. Our task will be fundamental for the management of the room: they will bring us everything we need and we will take care of setting up the space before the start and then we will directly distribute dinner to the guests. No previous experience is needed: I've been volunteering here for years, I'll explain everything on site and we'll do the shift together from start to finish! 📍 Where: Via Saponaro, 40, Milan ⏰ When: Sunday 16 August, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM 📋 Important requirements: Before starting the service, it is mandatory to fill out a release form that I will have to send to the facility manager. I will contact you privately to send it to you! ⚠️ Important note on attendance: The spots for this event are limited and valuable. If you sign up and then don't show up or cancel at the last minute, you will take away the spot from another volunteer and make the soup kitchen service difficult.
