Shrek 2 + Picnic Potluck at Prospect Park

Welcome to the Brooklyn Connections Committee! I didn't know so other people were also looking to meet other folks and do fun activities, but it looks like we are at around 50-ish members and thought it would be fun to host a little initial get-together. This is intended to be a low stakes, no pressure way to get to know other people that live in Brooklyn!! Prospect Park is hosting a free screening of "Shrek 2" on Wednesday, August 5, starting at 6PM. The movie starts after sundown, but we are going to get together and have a little picnic potluck before hand. I know it might be a little awkward to meet strangers at first, so I'll have some name tags handy and also try to organize a round of icebreakers for us to get to know one another. Maybe avoid bringing something with lettuce because of the Cyclospora outbreak lol There is an attendee limit on Meetup, but everyone is welcome to join us. Just bring your own blanket in case I don't have enough to cover everyone!
