Brisbane Stoics August 2026 Meetup
This is a meetup for people who are interested in applying stoic principles to their lives or would like to find out more about Stoicism. We will explore Letter 28 (On Travel as a Cure for Discontent) and discuss what Seneca's message is and how it's applied to us today. We'll look at some key phrases, look at the metaphors, and talk about how this links in with the broader Stoic philosophy. If you can, please read Letter 28 prior to the session. A copy can be found at https://brisbanestoics.com/letter-28/ Please bring some of your favourite short readings or maxims, along with general ideas, to share. 9am - The venue is the small building adjacent to New Farm library.
