Circular Walk - Putney Bridge to Barnes + (optional) Wetherspoon Pub
Due to popular demand for a summer repeat of this walk, here it is, everyone! We'll be meeting at Putney Bridge Station at 11:15 AM, once again allowing a little extra travel time. You can take the Central Line to Mile End and then the District Line to Putney Bridge, or the Elizabeth Line to Whitechapel and pick up the District Line from there. As a guide, it's a 57-minute journey from Woodford, and an hour from Romford. The walk is described as: Riverside parks, towpath, pubs and cafés, historic artist’s house, Palladian mansion and park, village, common, woodland, brookside walk. https://fancyfreewalks.org/G.London/Chiswick.pdf?version=dec24 We'll be setting off fairly promptly and stopping for coffee along the way. We expect to finish at the (optional) lovely Wetherspoon by Putney Bridge around mid-afternoon. If you haven't already paid for July, I request a nominal contribution of £2 to help cover Meetup organizer fees. Some members choose the option of paying £20 for six months, if that's your preference. Please no loose change.
