Question About Questioning (Central Austin)

Fri 21 Aug · 12am · Jason's Deli

We often try to get more information/insight/understanding by asking questions. Especially with access to the internet, many of these questions get answered. Satisfied, we move on to other things. However, a small percentage of questions leave us wanting more: 1. The answer seems possible but not understandable 2. The answer just leads to more questions, often down a rabbit hole 3. The answer is incomplete but it’s not clear what or who else to ask These situations may lead us to ask questions like the following: 1. Is the question is too hard for us to understand the answer? 2. Does the question have no answer? 3. Was the correct question asked? How do we know? 4. Must the question to be asked by the right person? Is there a person capable of answering that question? Sometimes getting an answer is not SO important and we let it go for the time being. Other times there is a need to get an answer. Where does this need come from? 1. Is the consequence of not having an answer going to have catastrophic affect on our lives? 2. Is our ego just unsettled with our inadequacies? 3. Do we have an emotional attachment to a particular answer that is not forthcoming? Do emotions prevent us or help us to finding the answer? 4. Do we only seek answers to questions we approve? Do we have reservations for questions that we can find answers to?
