Radical Abundance Book Chat

\As this is our first event of the year, you are welcome to attend if you haven’t read the book, grab a coffee or beer, listen, and build community!\ Season One: Degrowth — Radical Abundance Our first discussion focuses on Radical Abundance by Kai Heron, Keir Milburn and Bertie Russell, which explores ecological politics beyond capitalism and proposes new forms of non-capitalist or democratic socialist organization through public-common partnerships. Together we’ll discuss degrowth, collective ownership, democratic planning, the social surplus produced by labor, and how institutions could be reorganized around ecological sustainability and shared abundance. The meeting is in person, but if an established member needs to join online, they can email the organiser for a link. If you did not finish the book, but you still would like to listen to the discussion, or have thoughts to share about what you did read, you are welcome to come.
