"The Conscious Universe: The Scientific Truth of Psychic Phenomena" - Dean Radin
Inspired by Catherine Ormand's popular women's-only book discussion group and our group's desire to have events mid-week, we're starting a co-ed book discussion group held Tuesday evenings in the center of town at Paula Curtright's Yin City Therapeutic Arts located at 1800 Industrial Road Suite 207. We are going to start with Dean Radin's "The Conscious Universe: The Scientific Truth of Psychic Phenomena." The book is very accessible with interesting chapter titles that include "Telepathy," "Perception Through Time," "Mental Interactions With Living Organisms," and "Psi in the Casino." You can find plenty of used copies, hardback and paperback, on Amazon. You can also find a free PDF at the Internet Archive. Please, no pets or small children (teens very welcome), no food or snacks, drinks are okay. PLEASE BRING SOMETHING COMFY TO SIT ON. There will be yoga mats and a few folding chairs, but if you wanna get comfy bring something with ya, including inflatables. Doors will open 10 minutes early at 6:50 and we'll dive straight into the book discussion at 7:05, so if you wanna get your gossip on, you'll have 15 minutes to do so whilst everyone is getting situated and comfy. Late arrivals are okay, please minimize the disruption as you quietly situate yourself while we discuss. Guests and new readers are welcome in the middle of the series with the expectation that they can keep up and maintain focus on the chapters of the week. The event is free.
