No Exit by Jean-Paul Sartre
Hello everyone, Our next book has been selected as a result of a poll we've done in our LINE group. We are going to read and discuss No Exit by Jean-Paul Sartre. "No Exit" by Jean-Paul Sartre is a philosophical play that explores the themes of existence, freedom, and meaning. The play follows three characters as they are trapped in a room together, with no way out. Through intense conversations and confrontations, the characters come to realize the true nature of their existence and the consequences of their actions. Sartre uses this setting to examine the human condition, and to demonstrate the idea that existence precedes essence, meaning that individuals must create their own identity and purpose in life. The play is a masterful exploration of the human experience, and a powerful commentary on the human condition. Depending on the number of people who join, we'll split the group into small tables to make discussions easier to handle. If you have any questions please feel free to comment here or message us. See you soon.
