More info at https://www.internationale-stummfilmtage.de THE LOVE NEST is one of the most comic pieces which the sad face comedian Buster Keaton has given the screen. He utilizes the dream situation in building his burlesque, yet one never suspects this bit of ancient treatment until it is shown at the finish. WONDERS OF THE SEA holds an audience as no ordinary drama could hold them. For this is real – there is nothing staged, with the possible exception of the pretty mermaid posing among the waving undersea vegetation, and this is so lovely that it can scarcely be called posing. Let's meet at 7:15 pm in order to get adjacent seats - if the weather is good the venue may fill surprisingly quick. You can try to join later, but then admission is no longer guaranteed. I suggest meeting in the last row of the left section. The screen is huge so it's ok to be in the back. We can chat and have a drink or two at the venue, before the film starts at about 9:15 pm.
