Uptown Night Market

The Argyle Night Market is an annual event that features food from local Argyle restaurants plus live cultural and musical performances on Thursday evenings each summer. The Night Market is on Argyle St from Kenmore to Sheridan I strongly recommend public transit; the 151 Sheridan bus will bring you right there! We will meet at the northbound bus stop at Sheridan and Argyle at 5:00 pm. That will give us time to get food and browse before the performances. If you can't get there at 5:00, you can meet us at the performance area at 6:00. (Please answer the question when you RSVP, and keep an eye on the comments here for details.) I will update with more details about performances and vendors when I get the weekly Night Market email from Uptown United. "Started in 2013 by Uptown United, this free outdoor event draws an average of 5,000 visitors each week and continues to grow in popularity. Part market, part street festival, this vibrant and award-winning event is located on Argyle, the city’s first shared street. "In addition to the delicious Asian street food that can be found at the night market, a highlight for our guests is the live cultural and musical performances being offered weekly. In partnership with local arts organizations, we are able to bring live music, dance, and other performance styles to Uptown. As this is a free event, our goal is to make sure that ALL feel welcome at the market."
