From product discovery to delivery, where does AI create meaningful leverage, and where does it introduce new challenges? In this session, Son Tang shares how Grab is evolving toward AI-native product management, drawing on his experience leading Online Delivery and Affordability products. He will discuss practical lessons from driving AI adoption within product teams, overcoming organizational barriers, and building a culture where AI amplifies human creativity through initiatives such as GILA, G/AI, and continuous learning. Speaker Bio Son Tang leads Online Delivery Products and Affordability at Grab, driving product innovation across one of Southeast Asia's largest technology platforms. He is also one of Grab's AI Program Coaches, helping product managers adopt AI-first ways of working and integrate AI into their day-to-day product development practices. With more than 10 years of product leadership experience, Son has built and scaled customer-centric products across both startups and high-growth technology companies. His expertise spans product strategy, technology evaluation, venture-backed and bootstrapped businesses, and building high-performing product organizations across multiple markets. As an entrepreneur and technology leader, he is passionate about helping teams leverage AI to build better products, move faster, and create meaningful customer impact. Speaker 2 Jon Deragon, Head of Design, FPT Software Session Title Touching Users for e-Commerce Success Session Description We’ll take an engaging journey exploring what it takes to achieve e-commerce success in today's online shopping landscape. Along the way, we explore our relationship with users, our willingness to challenge established norms, our need to embrace new technologies and the value of designing boldly. We’ll pull apart examples from both real world and online retail to see how we can truly speak to people’s needs and eliminate frustrating friction points for online shoppers. His global career includes various Director, Head and VP roles in companies across Vietnam, Indonesia, Australia and Canada. Jon has delivered many high complexity projects across demanding domains such as insurance, banking, SaaS and particularly e-commerce. Jon is currently the global Head of Design for FPT Software, leading Vietnam’s largest design team of over 160 designers. He has enjoyed contributing to the design community in a variety of capacities including international keynote speaker, podcast appearances, workshop facilitation, panelist and mentorships.
