[3-5pm] August Beginners/Learners Event!

NEW START TIME (due to a prior engagement): Disathairne, an 8mh dhen Lùnastal, 3pm - 5pm CÀITE? An Lòchran, 22 Mansfield St, Partick, Glasgow G11 5QP WHO SHOULD COME? Anyone learning Scottish Gaelic at A1 (beginner) to B2 (advanced intermediate) level, roughly! See below for the different things we'll be doing... FORMAT We'll have a round of introductions in Gaelic, and do some fun activities and games, to get everyone hearing and using some Gaelic. We'll also have a wee break, where Andy will be taking tea and coffee orders...but only in Gaelic 😉 After part 2, we'll break out into two conversation groups. One will be for those who want to keep conversing in Gaelic, and one will be for English if you're not feeling quite so confident yet. In the English group, you can still ask questions about the Gaelic language, share what you've been learning, what you're enjoying or struggling with, etc. After the event, a group of us might head to the Lismore next door for a wee drink. Come along if you want to keep the Gaelic/English conversation going with us. DONATIONS This event at An Lòchran is free, with tea and coffee provided.
