The One Hundred
LOS ANGELES — Rimarkable is coming to The One Hundred. On Friday, August 21st, we’re honored to welcome one of the most respected voices in underground dance music to our community. An Afro-Puerto Rican cultural architect, DJ, educator, founder of Betty Jean’s Dream Records, and globally celebrated tastemaker, Rimarkable has built a reputation for transcending genres—blending deep house, techno, soul, funk, disco, and gospel into dance floor experiences that are as uplifting as they are unforgettable. A member of the legendary Defected Records family and host of the internationally syndicated Defected Radio Show, she’s shared stages with George Clinton, Madonna, Erykah Badu, and Honey Dijon, while also mentoring the next generation of artists through her course, The Alchemy of DJing, at NYU’s Clive Davis Institute. Joining her is resident Juliet Mendoza, with an opening set from Brian Epstein, guiding the night from start to finish with the soulful, deep, and timeless sounds that have become the heartbeat of The One Hundred. Rooted in Chicago. Inspired by Detroit. Connected through New York, London & Los Angeles. No VIP sections. No egos. No distractions. Just music. Just movement. Just soul. The One Hundred is more than a party. It’s a community. A place to dance freely, meet new people, reconnect with old friends, and lose yourself in music that feeds both the body and the spirit. The Airliner Bar 2419 N. Broadway, Los Angeles Friday, August 21st 9:30PM–2:00AM Early Bird tickets are on sale now via Resident Advisor. They won’t last—secure yours now through the link in our bio.
