Europe's BIGGEST thrift festival: Edinburgh

Clothes Cycle's Edinburgh thrift festival, billed by the organiser as Europe's biggest, was held on Sunday 18 October 2026 from 11am to 5pm at Meadowbank Sports Centre on London Road. The day brought more than 100 curated vintage sellers into a space of over 25,000 square feet, alongside live DJs, street food, coffee and bars, free alterations, and stalls offering nails, tooth gems and beauty treatments. A free clothes swap ran through the day: visitors could hand in up to five pre-loved items and receive a token for each one to spend on the swap rails, with any leftover items free to take in the final hour.
