Event Description

Let's get the group out to a match. The Sounders host CF Montréal at Lumen Field on Saturday the 17th. Rain or shine, let's cheer the Sounders on to victory!
Where we're meeting
We'll gather at 6:30 PM in the North Plaza at Lumen Field, just outside the gates, and head in together about an hour before kickoff. Get there however works best for you.

If you'd rather skip the parking and the drive home, a few of us are taking the train and you're welcome to join:

5:30 PM — Meet at Lynnwood City Center Station, plaza level, by the ticket machines at the north entrance
5:45 PM — Board the 1 Line southbound
~6:25 PM — Arrive Stadium Station, five-minute walk over to the North Plaza

Fare is a flat $3 each way. Buy at the station machines (cash or card), tap an ORCA card, or use the Transit GO app. Trains run every 8–15 minutes and service continues well past midnight, so the ride home is covered. Weekend parking at the Lynnwood City Center garage is free.

Getting home
Heads up that this is a later kickoff — the final whistle lands around 9:20, so figure on getting back to Lynnwood closer to 10:30. Whoever wants to ride back together can regroup after the match; otherwise head out whenever suits you. No obligation either way.
About tickets
Your RSVP here holds your spot in the group — seats are handled separately. Once you're on the list, I'll message you directly to coordinate seating so we're all sitting together, and I'll confirm exact pricing before anyone commits a dollar. Expect somewhere in the range of $45–75 per ticket depending on section.
Please RSVP by Sunday, October 11 so I have time to lock in seats together.
Group size
This one is capped at four to keep the ticketing simple on a first outing. If there's more interest than that, I'll gladly expand it — RSVP anyway and land on the waitlist. That's exactly how I'll know to grab a bigger block.
A few practical notes

Lumen Field has a clear bag policy — clear plastic bags up to 12"x6"x12", or a small clutch roughly the size of your hand. Anything else gets turned away at the gate.
The stadium is fully cashless. Card or phone only.
Mid-October, evening kickoff: dress for it. Bring a warm layer and something waterproof. Much of the seating is covered, but not all of it, and it will be dark and cold by the second half.
Driving in? SoDo lots fill up and prices climb close to kickoff — worth pre-booking a spot through SpotHero or similar.
Running late? Message me here and I'll tell you where we're sitting. Don't stress — just come find us.

New to the group? This is a good one to start with. You'll have a solid three hours of built-in conversation, and nobody has to make small talk over a crowded bar table. Come solo, come with a +1 — just note that with a four-person cap this time around, guests count toward the total, so message me first if you want to bring someone.
