Thursday Gathering 78

Venture Café's weekly Berlin gathering, this week with a panel on what quantum computing does to Bitcoin's cryptography.

Race Against the Machine runs 18:45 to 20:00 with Fabian Jahr (open source contributor), Matthias Mrozewski (Associate Professor for International Entrepreneurship, ESCP Europe) and Wadim Wormsbecher (Senior Innovation Developer, Bundesdruckerei-Gruppe), on where the cryptographic risk actually sits and which mitigations are real. Before that, 17:30 to 18:30, ESCP Business School runs Pitching for Impact, with AI pre-seed startups presenting solutions and business models. Demo and info tables and open networking run across the whole evening.

Free, registration required. The demo tables are a no-hard-sales zone.

Why go: a specific technical question put to people who work on the primitives rather than the price, plus a pre-seed AI pitch session in the same three hours. Best for security and crypto engineers, and for pre-seed founders who want to see what is getting backed.
