Packed Lunch: Geovation Scotland Lunch & Learn with Glen Stocco

Geovation Scotland's Lunch and Learn at its Meadowbank House hub, an hour of fireside chat and lunch for people working in land, property and location data.

November's guest is Glen Stocco, who co-founded Plane & Simple — an online marketplace for independent builders' merchants — and took it from concept through national expansion to an exit. He now advises founder-led businesses on growth, team structure and financial clarity, and has a commercial property development background. Expect the exit story and the advising view rather than a geospatial technical session. Free, 13:00 to 14:00, open to all. Meadowbank House is a Scottish Government building, so attendees are booked in as visitors.

Why go: an exited founder talking through what actually happened, in a small room, over lunch. Best for early-stage founders in proptech or geospatial, and anyone weighing a marketplace model.
