edindies — gamedev co-working in Levels (31 Oct)

Edindies is Edinburgh's independent game development community. It meets most Saturday afternoons at LEVELS cafe and lounge on Holyrood Road to co-work, playtest each other's builds and talk shop.

The format is deliberately plain: turn up from 13:00 with whatever you are building, sit with other people doing the same, and talk when it helps. Free, no programme, no speakers, no experience required. RSVP on Meetup.

Why go: Edinburgh has a real games cluster but very little that is open to people outside a studio, and this is the standing weekly fixture that is. Best for indie developers, artists and anyone shipping a game on the side.
