The last 2026 session of Learnovate's Responsible AI in Learning community of practice, on how AI regulation is landing on learning and training and what changes in 2027.
Jonathan Dempsey, the community's 2026 chair, leads. Also speaking: Dr Barry Scannell, Susan Leavy, Nessa McEniff, Dr Ann Devitt and Dr Peter Gillis. Networking from 17:00, welcome at 17:15, panel from 17:20, two hours in total at Chartered Accountants House on Pearse Street.
In person only, and it is a working session as well as a panel: the community sets RAIL's direction for next year in the room.
Why go: six named people who have actually read the AI Act, arguing about what it means for anyone building or buying learning technology. Narrower and more concrete than the general AI governance circuit. Best for edtech teams, L&D leads and anyone shipping AI features into training products.
