Deep Tech Night: Health Tech

Silicon Allee's final Deep Tech Night of the year, run with Fraunhofer HHI and with Techniker Krankenkasse as partner, on moving a health innovation out of the lab and into routine care.

The panel is billed as live and unscripted, on barriers, trade-offs and what scaling actually requires, with Dr Jens Baas (CEO, Techniker Krankenkasse), Prof. Sławomir Stańczak (Fraunhofer HHI) and Prof. Frank Giordano on the clinical side. Then four startup pitches of five minutes each with questions, an open mic at one minute per startup and no slides, with some slots held for people who apply from the audience, and curated networking at four themed tables: demand, research transfer, clinical validation, and funding and scale. Food and drinks provided.

Why go: the payer, the research institute and the clinic are on the same panel, which is the combination health-tech founders usually have to chase separately.
