Getting Started: Making AI Work for Your Business

A three-hour practical workshop at Aston's John Cadbury House on getting useful work out of ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot, 10:00 to 13:00.

It is pitched at business owners and leaders rather than engineers. The session covers which everyday tasks these tools genuinely improve, how to get better results from them, and how to spot the opportunities worth pursuing in your own organisation, working through real examples, discussion and hands-on exercises. The emphasis is on leaving with something you can apply rather than a survey of the market. Free, run by the Aston Centre for Enterprise and Entrepreneurship.

Why go: most AI sessions for business owners are either sales pitches or futurology, and this is neither. Best for owner-managers and team leads who have a Copilot licence and are not getting much out of it.
