Dublin Tech Connect

An after-work networking evening for Dublin's tech community, built around a single featured conversation rather than open mingling alone. The night centres on a fireside chat with Liam Whelan, co-founder and COO of TalentHunter.me, an Irish AI-powered jobs platform; Whelan also sits on EU AI Office task forces on the transparency of AI-generated content under the EU AI Act. His talk, "What It Takes to Expand into Europe," covers building and scaling a business across European markets. Craig Maguire moderates.

Registration and arrivals from 18:30, welcome remarks at 19:00, the featured talk at 19:10, open networking from 20:00. Free to attend, at The Capel Building in Dublin 7. Organised by CO:next Tech, who run a regular international tech-networking series.

Why go: a low-commitment evening for founders and operators weighing European expansion, anchored by one substantive talk rather than name-badge small talk.
