The third Berlin.rb, a meetup for Berlin's Ruby community, at Le Wagon Berlin in Kreuzberg — a Ruby meetup at a school that teaches Ruby.
One talk so far: Andrzej Krzywda of Arkency, over from Poland with “Rails architecture in the age of AI”. After fifteen years of domain-driven design in Rails, he looks at which parts still make sense alongside AI, when a rewrite beats a refactor, and where human legacy code stands against AI slop. The organisers are still after a second speaker.
Doors 18:30, talk at 19:00, food and drinks provided, free with open registration. 47 people signed up so far. Talks are filmed from behind the audience; say so at the door if you would rather stay out of shot. The livestream is a separate registration.
Why go: the organisers reckon the best part is the conversation between the talks, and that is the honest pitch — one substantial talk and a room of working Rails developers. Best for Ruby and Rails engineers in Berlin.
