Hey, how's it going? From Curiosity to Capability: Build Your Own Device Swarm looks like it should be pretty interesting. Want me to help you organise around it?

Rust Language Milan on Myrmic, an open-source distributed runtime built in Rust and powered by WebAssembly. Developers write small stateful Rust components called cells, compile them to WebAssembly and deploy them across a network of nodes; the runtime handles messaging, state and where the code actually runs.

Hosted by Alessandro R. with organisers Andrea Tontini and Dario Curreri at Randstad Box. A live demo and Q&A to 19:00, setup checks, then a hands-on block to 20:35 in which participants build their own interactive device swarm, debrief, and pizza and drinks from 21:00. English, free, 40 places.

Why go: a genuine workshop rather than a talk, on the part of Rust and Wasm that most people read about and never run. Best for Rust developers, embedded and edge engineers, and anyone curious whether Wasm components are usable off the browser.
