Data & Decision Intelligence Observatory Annual Conference

"Decision First: data and AI in the service of decisions" is the 2026 conference of the Politecnico di Milano's Data & Decision Intelligence Observatory, on data and AI converging into platforms that automate data management and change how decisions get made.

Carlo Vercellis and Alessandro Piva present the research: the Italian data and AI market and where investment is going, how ready large Italian organisations are to adopt AI, how companies actually use data to decide, and what stops SMEs from doing the same. Use-case panels bring CNP Assicura, Generali, Trenitalia, Banca Sella, Databricks, Dataiku and Quantexa; A2A and Gruppo Unipol take the finance session.
